Amber Freeland is a seasoned professional with a broad range of skills and experience across a variety of industries. With over a decade of work on both the client side and agency side, she has a keen sense of how best to meet an organization's goals and objectives and how to determine what those goals should be. She is currently working as the Director of Communications for The Cooper Institute, a nonprofit dedicated to the scientific research and study of physical fitness and its role in preventive healthcare.
In her heart, she is a content developer and strategist and loves to be a part of the creative process. Amber also spent several years in public education, sharpening her writing skills and making her an excellent mentor and coach to junior team members. Her mission is to help your organization succeed and keep your audiences actively engaged.
Amber is a native Texan, born and raised in the greater Dallas metroplex. She is a proud Texas Tech Red Raider and loves watching her team play in all sports. She has passed on her competitive nature to her children, who are active in soccer, dance, Cub Scouts and children's missions at church. In her free time, she loves kayaking on the lake, hiking trails and camping with her family. She is also a supporter of the arts and enjoys theatre and live music.
