Amber Freeland is a seasoned professional with a broad and unique range of skills and experience across a variety of industries. With over a decade of work on both the client side and agency side, she has a keen sense of how best to meet an organization's goals and objectives and how to determine what those goals should be.
Classically trained in public relations, Amber is a media savvy brand advocate who has earned tier 1 media placements in some of the biggest digital and print publications. She has a sharp analytical mind and a passion for product marketing, consumer experience (CX), content development and strategic communications. In her heart, she is a change maker who loves helping organizations pivot, modernize, thrive and grow to reach their full potential. Amber started her career in sports marketing before transitioning to public education where she mentored and sharpened the writing skills of over 1200 students while also exploring and presenting on digital communications strategies for educators. After nearly a decade in the classroom, she returned to public relations with a master's in strategic communications and an emphasis on media relations, digital marketing, branding and product development. |

Most recently, Amber worked as the Director of CX for Signify Health, a CVS company, where she built an incredible team who owned the content production of all B2C communications for 50+ clients in the health plan space serving Medicare and Medicaid members. Prior to that, she worked as the Director of Communications for The Cooper Institute, a nonprofit dedicated to the scientific research and study of physical fitness and its role in preventive healthcare. This native Texan, born and raised in the greater Dallas metroplex, is a proud Texas Tech Red Raider and loves watching her team play in all sports. She has passed on her competitive nature to her children, who are active in sports, dance, and community service. In her free time, she loves hiking in the mountains, visiting national parks, going to concerts, and cheering on the Dallas Stars. She can also be found searching the city for the best tacos and the perfect whiskey cocktail.
